Trade-offs
There are four trade-offs available to the Project Manager: Scope, Resources, Time and Quality. You must research this well. Inferior project managers, asked to name the trade-offs, will be able to name only three.

Scope
The Project Scope Document is the core of the project schedule. No project schedule can be maintained without a detailed scope document. Every ambiguous, unclear or fuzzy requirement in the scope document must, inevitably, turn into a missed deadline, a cost overrun or a dropped requirement.
