It takes about 15 minutes for a designer to get into the flow. If he or she is interrupted, it takes 15 minutes to get back into the flow. You must research this thoroughly. Project teams usually are not given private offices with doors.

When I was a systems integrator a long time ago I thought I'd publish a desk calendar with a new project management aphorism for every day of the year. But it turned out I only knew 148 things worth saying about project management. A friend suggested I fill in the blanks with recipes and jokes. That was before we knew about cat and dog photos. Does anyone even know what a desk calendar is anymore?
