The Project Manager must give the client what the client needs, which may or may not be what the client wants. This requires great tact and peace of mind.

When I was a systems integrator a long time ago I thought I'd publish a desk calendar with a new project management aphorism for every day of the year. But it turned out I only knew 148 things worth saying about project management. A friend suggested I fill in the blanks with recipes and jokes. That was before we knew about cat and dog photos. Does anyone even know what a desk calendar is anymore?
